Let’s talk about one of the very most important things we, as human beings, should be focusing on.
Self-care is literally asking yourself what do I need right now and doing it.
There are different versions of self-care – Physical, Emotional, Spiritual and Mental. For the sake of this blog, let’s talk about mental self-care.
If you don’t know what you need for your mental self-care, I would challenge you to start thinking about what that looks like. It could be practicing mindfulness, going on walks, reading a book, doing a puzzle, or my personal favorite, alone time.
Or it may just be taking a day off to mentally reset from a crazy or challenging week.
If you’re not taking care of yourself. You’re not going to be the best version of yourself. Both for you and for those around you.
So, remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Make sure you’re taking care of you!
