Low-Fat Parisian French Toast

Ingredients

2 slices whole-wheat bread 2 egg whites
2 tbsp. skim milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. cinnamon, ground 5-second spray of cooking spray
½ cup raspberries  
1 tbsp. sugar-free calorie-reduced syrup
   
Prep Time: 5 mins. Cooking Time: 8 mins. Servings: 1

Directions

  1. Mix together egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
  2. Beat lightly until mixture is completely blended.
  3. Prepare a non-stick frying pan over medium heat with a 5-second spray of cooking spray.
  4. Dip whole-wheat bread into egg mixture; flip over and dip the other side.
  5. Once bread is wet, place into hot pan.
  6. Fry over medium heat, about 4 minutes per side. Be sure that bread is cooked through.
  7. Serve with raspberries and top with sugar-free syrup.
